Treorchy Male Choir comes to Leatherhead
what's it about

Wooden Spoon, the children's charity of rugby, will be hosting an event with the world-famous Treorchy Male Choir.

All profits raised will be donated to Wooden Spoon, funding projects that support children and young people with disabilities and facing disadvantage in Surrey.

The Treorchy Male Choir will also be joined by the jazz band from Therfield School, Leatherhead, who will perform during the concert.

Event Organiser, David Jackson who is a volunteer at Wooden Spoon Surrey said: 'We are delighted to welcome the world-famous Treorchy Male Choir to host another event for Wooden Spoon. For 130 years the Treorchy Male Choir has been recognised as one of the greatest choral ensembles of all time. We are honoured that they are continuing to support our charity. The choir are also delighted that a local school will be involved in their fundraising efforts.'

'Wooden Spoon Surrey funds a range of projects, which are not just rugby focused, from respite and medical treatment centres, sensory rooms, specialist playgrounds and community based programmes. By attending this event, you will help us to continue our life-changing work.'
